Welcome. A highly collectable garnet bracelet charm, necklace pendant or to add to a grouping on a neck chain. Appx 100 rose cut Bohemian garnets are individually prong set to form a heart pendant. It appears to be a locket judging by the 2 sided gems stone mounted puffy hearts. Gentle pressure did not yield for it to be a slide and I did not pursue opening it for fear of damage. Bohemian garnets are highly coveted and dark maroon. Rose cut facets catch the light better than a cabocheon cut. One one side is a letter "C" or "G".
